I bought a brand new Samsung fridge freezer from Makro on 03/01/2014. I got the water installed and found that the ice maker was not working. I proceeded to phone Makro who told me they cannot help me and I have to phone the supplier. I have been in contact with the supplier since and have had no joy for someone to come and look at the fridge/freezer. I think from Makro's perspective this is poor service as I paid a considerable amount of money for a new appliance with the expectation that it would work correctly. I think it's cowardly of Makro to just pass the buck on to Supplier - Samsung. After all I am Makro's customer and surely you should have some responsibility in customer satisfaction. I will rather in future opt for a supplier that provides some customer service and support.
