Today 05-02-2013 was now third time that I purchased cold foods, eg. meat cheese, that when I got home the smell was so awfull when I open the packet that is had to wrap it in a plastic bag to throw it in the dustbin.
The first time it was vacuumed sealed rump steaks. I had my family over for a braai and when we opened the packet the smell put us of meat. I returned it and got my money back the next time I bought boerewors, this was about two weeks later when I got home same story. This I also returned for my money back. And yet again today I bought cheese for a salad when i opened it I nearly died of the smell. The meat packed date was the same day I purchased it. I work hard for my money and can't afford to sit with meat that is off in my freezer. The smell at the Pick n pay meat fridge is horrible. I am at this point that I think they use the green old meat to make mince and boerewors.
