In December 2011 we purchased a complete bedroom suite and a Sealy Bed for cash. At the time we were advised that the bed came with a 2 year guarantee and 10 year warranty. We recently found out that the bed was defective and complained in the store. They then just logged a query and advised that someone will call me back. On Thursday, someone called me back and advised that I would have to pay in R 831.58 in order for them the exchange the bed. I find this unacceptable as had I been informed about this in the beginning, I would have not purchased it. The sales person at the branch did not even given me a guarantee card. The only proof that they gave me was my receipt. I will never buy from Joshua Doore ever again.
