Unacceptable website fault and terrible service

I accessed the Takealot website to purchase a LeapFrog - Tag Reading System - Green which was advertised at R293. I put it in my Cart, registered and then clicked 'Checkout' to enter my payment details. The price suddenly changed to R515. Obviously I did not PAY because that was not the price that I put it in my cart at. I called the call centre on 0861222989 and someone answered. I began explaining what happened and she dropped the call on me. I dialed again and waited for someone to answer. In the meantime I had obtained a screen dump of the prices etc. Elaina answered and took more than 10 minutes to just find the item I was referring to. After 18 minutes of explaining etc. she asked me to add the R515 item to my cart again and there was no option to do so. She advised me that the item was now sold out.

If you have already added an item to your shopping cart, surely the price cant change. Imagine by the time you have added a few items to your cart and you proceed to checkout, the items prices have gone up. Isn't that the point of having a shopping cart (the item is reserved for you at that price)?

Now I have been promised nothing but a call back, we'll see if that happens
