One of our receptionists received a cold call from concentrated solutions and placed an order for R 3000 for cleaning material in the name of the company. Concentrated solutions delivered the cleaning material and claims that the receptionist placed another order for the company subsequently again for R 3000, the receptionist denies placing another order. Concentrated solutions cannot prove the placing of another order and demands payment from the company for an order which was never authorised nor placed. The cleaning material was delivered, never opened/used and concentrated solutions refuses to take the order back. Concentrated solutions never asked whether this receptionist was authorised to place orders in the name of the company needless to say that the receptionist was not authorised.
