I shop at the Pick 'n Pay in Midway Mews a number of times each week. Most of the time they don't have the items that are advertised as special offers, and the staff (including the manager) aren't even aware of the offers. The last issue I had was with a Pampers special. After speaking to staff who didn't know what I was talking about, I asked for a copy of the leaflet so I could point it out, which they did not have! I spoke to the manager, who also could not find a single copy of the sales leaflet! I went home and brought the leaflet with, and when I showed it to the manager she said they had no stock - they would get it the following Monday (at this time, she also removed the incorrect pricing displayed on the shelf). I went back on the Monday - they still did not have it, and the manager was not available.
Another common problem at this store is that the price that scans at the till is often different from what is displayed on the shelf. If you don't watch the prices like a hawk, you'll be ripped off each time. I've brought this up with them a few times, and each time they apologise but clearly nothing's been done about it because it keeps happening.
