I ordered a plasma unit and 2 bedside pedestals from Weylands Greenpoint. I was told that the plasma unit was on hand but only a natural colour and would take time to stain, the side tables would take 8 weeks to arrive. I was told I could collect the plasma unit in 2/3 weeks and wait for the rest... ok no stress.
Called 6 weeks later, and told that there were no plasma units. I indicated that had I known this I would have purchased elsewhere. I strongly suspected that my unit was sold as it seemed as if they then needed to order my unit.
I then called after 8 weeks (no courtesy call, no follow up) and given another story about a delay.
Long story short after nearly 3 months!!! Yes 3 months, I called and said that this was unacceptable and wanted to cancell my order. They asked me not to and offered a 10% discount. Knowing I would have to wait somewhere else I agreed.
After 4 months still no goods, no call, no follow up!!! I then called and was told 2 weeks. At which point the goods were finally delivered 10 weeks later!!
This was in September last year. I am still waiting for my discount... no follow up, no phone call!!
I will never ever ever buy from these guys again
