Cellphone RED button lost - NOT guarenteed??

My Nokia Asha300 was already in for a faulty speaker about two months ago, and it took almost three weeks to be repaired under guarantee. Now the RED button on the keypad got loose last week Friday, and by Sunday, after taking it out of my pocket, I noticed the key was gone. Went to CNA today, and the counter personnel tells us "it is not covered". There is ABSOLUTELY NO damage on the phone to indicate customer misuse. I feel this phone is a DUD, and should rather be replaced. Also I would like to know if the new consumer laws does not compel them to fix factory substandard products, and would appreciate it if anyone can assist me with the contact details for the applicable authorities so that I can also take this up with them. I am 41 - I do not mistreat my property, or handle it with a careless attitude. Neither will I advise any member of the public to support the CNA. The worst is the NON caring and arrogant attitude of the staff. They do not even TRY to be assisting in any way. Have spoken to Vodacom and Autopage cellular today, and they both agreed that it should be fixed under guarantee. And YES, this phone is still under guarantee.
