On Friday 01 Feb, my mother and I bought a fridge and a washing machine from Game in Kenilworth. We were promised delivery today. (And paid through the nose for it, too!)
At approximately 1pm I phoned the shop to try and track down our goods. A very bored woman told me "the guys are on the road." She could not tell me at what point I should expect them (what do people who DON'T work from home do to deal with these deliveries?) and just that the were on their way. At approximately 4pm, after having defrosted our fridge and removed all the food so as to move the new fridge in quickly and without fuss, my mother received an sms from Game telling her that "their delivery company would sms us when they were on their way."
It is now just after 7.30pm. We haven't heard a word from either Game or the mystery deliver company! We have replaced the food we could and had to throw some out as it was defrosted. Perhaps we were silly, but I believed that after spending a rather large sum of money on these items, they would actually be delivered on the day we paid for.
Shocking, terrible service, Game!!! What are you going to do to make this right?
