I shop at Nahoon Checkers on a regular basis as it is very close to home. Today I went in to buy all my daughter's stationery for school and was helped by several staff members instore from the packers to the cashier and the three managers who had assisted with a Eezicoupon problem. I have always been happy with the service but was somewhat saddened by what happened on my way out. I stopped at the Cigarette kiosk to get a newspaper and gave my 9 year old daughter the money and watched as she stood behind a customer purchasing cigarettes. Just then a Checkers staff member pushed in front of my daughter and was assisted by the two ladies behind the counter. I then went to the counter and asked the ladies whether it was fair that they were assisting a staff member who had pushed in when my daughter had been standing there all along. The lady who had pushed in apologized and said that she didn't see my daughter but the ladies behind the counter did not apologise at all. Instead they seemed angry because I had voiced my annoyance. No-one expects, nor deserves this from any staff member in any store and kindly ask tht the problem be addressed as soon as possible to maintain reputation.
