I had a horrible experience at the Sterns in the Waterfront in Bloemfontein. The shop assistant ignored me at first and then when she finally helped me she was struggling to spell my name and when she saw that I was getting annoyed (the 4th time I had to spell out my name) she laughed at me. My ring had to be resized and when I returned to the store to pick it up they indicated that I did not have the right slip (I took the one that they gave to me) and finally they just gave me the ring, no box or bag just the ring in my hand. I reported both of these incidents to the head office, however I did not receive any response. Shows you what they think about customer service. I am still irritated by this situation as I spent a lot of money and the experience was completely spoiled and to make things worse they did not do anything to fix the problem. All I wanted was someone telling me that they are sorry and the person responsible will be retrained or something.
