I bought the Whirlpool 6th sense washing machine and tumble dryer about 14 months ago. What a mistake... My advise is to stay away from Whirlpool products. The washing machine was a DUD it had problems from the day of delivery. In the first 2 months it was replaced twice... finally I got Hirsch to replace the Whirlpool washing machine with a Bosch.
The tumble dryer worked fine until two months ago when it started making all sorts of wierd noises. The service call was logged and the technician came along and said that something was broken and he would need to replace the entire drum kit. It is now 2 months later... about 20 phone calls and follow-ups with the call-centre and still they cannot tell me when the unit will be repaired.
I cannot believe that a consumer company can be so complacent and uninterested in offering a decent product and an acceptable level of customer service. Shame on you.
