I booked bus tickets at Checkers on Thursday. Checkers' system indicated that my card was declined, so they swiped the card a second time. Both transactions went through to the bank, and was approved by the bank, but it did not show on their side, so they did not issue the tickets. They blamed the bank, but promised that both transactions would be reversed within 24 hours. On Friday I went to the bank and to Checkers again, and still nothing was done. It is now 4 days later, and I still have not been refunded. While I was complaining, several other customers came up to me to tell me that the same thing had happened to them, but that Checkers keep blaming the banks, and refuse to admit that their systems are failing and causing lots of problems.
