NOT VERY HAPPY

Got a phone call this morning from an Attorney's office saying that I owe legal fees for an account handed over in 2006. This account was paid up in full directly at a Woolworths Branch (Gardens Centre, Cape Town) in 2007. Not once was I told that the account was handed over to attorneys and i should settle directly with the attorney's office. Now 7 YEARS LATER I get this call??? I think that is just ridiculous, and probably the reason I could not get a job for 4 years as my credit record was not clear. This is just ridiculous in my opinion. I would actually appreciate an answer from Woolworths as to why my money was taken at the tellers, and it was not made clear that the account has been paid. The interest on that account after 7 YEARS leaves me feeling a bit nauseated and sick to my stomach. REALLY??? 7 years??? But I suppose it's not their problem anymore so there you go
