I purchased a Gobii tablet from Kalahai beginning Dec. Read the info on their page very carefully and all seemed good. That is, until I received it and tried to get it to work. I work off a vodacom 3G dongle at home and when I plug the tablet in it keeps telling me there is no internet access. Called Kalahar, was promised the Gobii expert would call me back. Waited 3 hours, no call. Called them again and was kept holding for 20 mins before Nolan advised that the Gobii is not compatible with all 3G's only some. So why is this not mentioned on their site?? That is a huge piece of information to omit. Now I get told that they will collect the device from me and only if it has not been opened (HOW THE AM I SUPPOSED TO FIND OUT IF IT IS WORKING IF I DO NOT OPEN THE THING???) and the item is logged, and then processed, and then, when the money is available, will they refund my money. HUH? I paid them immediately, why do I have to wait a month before my money is paid back? Consumer Council, here I come!
