My wife and I want to place on record our dissatisfaction, and lay a complaint against Frans, who is the warehouse manager. We purchased furniture of more than R5000 on Saturday (14 December 2013). One of the items purchased was a dressing table with a mirror. The packer did open the box to show us the bolts and fasteners were provided. However he did not tear the inner packaging to show us that the mirror was intact or not broken. At home, when we were assembling the dressing table, we found that the mirror had a huge crack running through it.
We went back to the Fourways branch to report this and get a new one. The warehouse manager, Frans was very rude. We explained to him that the inner protective packaging was not torn up to show us the actual mirror when we bought it. Only when we tore up the inner packing did we see that the mirror was broken. He refused to exchange it. He indicated that what we were saying was a lie, literally calling us liars! He was very rude and was talking down at us! We don't appreciate his attitude nor his behaviour; his interaction with us was shoddy, and he was not even listening to us; and his attitude towards us was bordering on being.
