Edgars never canceled my account with ITC

Edgars is a genuine pain in the behind! After having non stop issues over billing when i had an account with them, even now when i don't have an account with them the issues still continue.

In september i paid off my edgars account in one swoop, taking a close on R3000 nock from my salary just so that i can have them and their incompetence out of my hair.

I retrieved my credit statement the other day only to find that i am listed as 120 days in arrears since september... HOW? my account is closed and no longer active not to mention it is paid in full so even if it was still open i still wouldn't be behind as i owe them nothing!

I phoned them only to be told by one of their supervisors that it hasn't been closed, yet i can not use the card and customer service tells me that the account is closed? so which is right?

They have now affected my credit record causing issues for me and my personal life. I will not rest until the bad credit record is rectified and removed from my ITC! and will take legal action if it comes to that, i am sick of corporations thinking they can take legal matters and twist them into their own benefit to the detriment of consumers!
