A few months back I received a post with a card from Jet stores that I was pre-selected for an account, because I had no intention nor interest to open an account I threw it away. A few weeks ago I decided to open an Edgars on a 6 months option. when I went to the store I was told that I am already in the system since i was pre-selected by Jet and would have to go to Jet stores to fetch my card since they cannot open one for me (same group).
Yesterday I went to Jet stores and told them as I was advised, upon being read the terms and conditions I was told that my account is the 12 months option, told the lady that I do not want the 12 months option and they told me Jet stores doesn't offer the 6 months option, told them that then they should remove me from the system since i don't want that option then i can open one from Edgars. i was told that they cannot remove from the system and would have to accept the 12 months option and if i don't accept it i can never open an account with them. i refused it because why should i open an account in your own terms from a pre-selcted account i never approved? Why am i even in the system with an account no. when i didn't even accept?
