We in Upington was so Happy to receive an mall about 3 months ago, there opened a checkers in the mall. i usualy buy my month worth of groceries at checkers in Town, but the checkers in town is DISGUSTING and DIRTY with nothing on the shelves these days, it was NEVER like that before, So i decided to go to the checkers in the mall, well Both times i bought meat worth over R800.00 ALL of it Not one or two products ALL of it was disgustingly OFF and had to be thrown away we bought the products way before the expire date and drove home which takes 3 minutes and put it in the freezer, when you take it out to defrost in the fridge it OFF, i phoned checkers and they said they can do anything about it,??? so i had to throw away R800.00 worth of meat products, im not the only one i know if 4 more people who experience this and there fruit and veg in pre packed bags is also off. In these tuff days we don't have money to throw around to make checkers rich!!! please sort yourself out this is acceptable, disgusting and a disgrace to a NEW shop. I will NEVER buy there again, i rather pay more at Pick and pay and receive a good product.
