Woolworths Credit Card harrasment

I was offered a Woolworths Black Credit card at the Woolworths at OR Tambo Airport more than 2 years ago. I never received the card. I received an invoice once off for card fees but then never again. A number of months later, still not having received a card, i received a letter from a debt collector. Apparently my account had been handed over. However, speaking to the debt collector they could not find record of it with them and they gave me the names of 2 other debt collectors who deal on behalf of Woolworths. i attempted numerous times to resolve the issue with Woolworths debtors department and customer service. They stated that they were not able to access the account since it had been handed over. After tracking the account down to MBDCS, i explained that i had not received a card at all. At this stage the account was reported to be more than R400.00 of fees without a single purchase on the card. I decided to pay the amount to get rid of the problem since numerous calls did not help. Since then i am continuously SMS'd and phoned by debt collectors still trying to claim the money, even though i have proof of payment. So no card, R491 later I am still being harassed.
