TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL In Shoprite West str.
My son kept my bag at the front of the store. I had money only in hand.went in for cooldrink, & also took 3x 850g cheese on special.but when got to front lines were goin into the aisles. I put all 3 soda cans & cheese in the front fridge, & walked out with my money in hand. I was taking my bag from my son, when security asked to search my bag, I started to unzip it & simultaneously said that this bag never went into the store. It was at the front counter with my son. Soon more security came & customers were all staring at us! The security said oh, you didn't take the bag in? I said no, I went in empty handed only money, what were u lookin at then. He said is it cos lines are long? I thort this was customer survey & relaxed a bit saying yes. He said if I put u in front of a line u will pay? I said of course! That's the only reason Im here. The 2nd African Man and indian mngr were surprised I wanted to pay. I asked whats the problem. The 2nd African staff replied in shocked voice: "u want to pay? I said whats going on? Your stuff is in the fridge. Customers staring no apology. I said search the bag! They walked away like nothing. No way Shoprite!
