Promotion 28 November to 1 December 2013:- WD My Passport Ultra 2.5" 2TB Hard Drive (86181, 86182, 86183, 86184) Normal Price R2199.90 advertised at R899.90.
Called 0860 011 700 to establish stock levels - was told it was not the 2TB drive that was being offered at that price but the 1TB drive, and that if a went into a store I would see a notice advising me so. Checked Incredible's website for price - it is given as "As Advertised" with no mention of drive capacity..The site does show another four WD My Passport Ultra Hard Drivse with a normal price of R2199.90, but the model numbers are 86185, 86186, 86187 and 86188 respectively.
What is being advertised is not what is being advertised. Which media do I believe?
Or are Incredible using false advertising to entice customers to their stores, where said customers will be told that there was a mistake but perhaps they would like to purchase something else in its place.
