Incredible connection advertised in their on-line catalogue for the sale currently on from 28 November to 1 December, on their website a 2.5 inch 2 Terra byte external hard drive for R899.99.
I went into the Incredible Connection store at Sandton City, to specifically purchase this product, to disappointingly have the sales person advise me that they made an error in there on-line catalogue, where the product should have been advertised as 2.5 inch 1 Terra byte external hard drive for R899.99.
The product I wanted, the 2.5 inch 2 Terra byte external hard drive was actually marked at a much higher price instead of R899.99.
This was incorrect advertising on the part of Incredible Connection, as the sale was widely publicised with the incorrect product details, however the correction was only updated in the stores.
Incredible Connection wanted consumers to come into there stores for the sale, based on incorrect advertising, where some consumers (like myself) were coming in to purchase a specific product (as advertised), however we are duped when we get there to only find out that the product (as advertised in their on-line catalogue) is at a higher price.
I am very disappointed.
