Woolworths refusing to credit storecard account

Good day

I would like to bring the following complaint to your attention.

My mother has been trying tirelessly to get this matter solved but she is being given the run around. She has given me consent in writing to deal with the matter on her behalf.

I have power of attorney of my mother's absa account, and she instructed me to make a payment to Woolworths from her Absa savings account. I select Woolworths as it is on Absa's beneficiary list, meaning when you transfer or pay Woolworths via internet banking it transfers the money from Absa straight into the Woolworths bank account. And how Woolworths tracks it is when you put in your storecard number as the beneficiary account number.By mistake I put in the incorrect storecard number in the beneficiary account number section and the credit amount paid was not allocated to my mom's account.

I have proof of payment from absa stating that the money was sucessefully transferred to the beneficiary account, Woolworths, but you guys are refusing to investigate this and you are passing the buck to Absa.

There would not be a proof of payment if this amount did not go into the Woolworths bank account.
