My husband is a Woolworths customer.
On Saturday I went to Woolworths Bayside branch to purchase make-up. The beautician assisted me as I asked her for help. She cleaned my face with wet wipes and tested various foundations on my face and after she was done she put a moisturiser on my face. When I got home that afternoon, my face and neck started to itch and just felt uncomfortable. The Sunday morning when I woke, I had a rash on my whole face and neck.
Yesterday, the 26th of November I eventually had to go to the doctor as the rash was still very evident and it itched extremely. My face looks extremely bad and I have no choice but to come to work like this. My doctor confirmed that it was not measles or something that I ate that I might have had an allergic reaction to, but something my face came in contact with. He asked me if I used a different soap, spray, make-up, etc. and that is when I realised about the make-up and when the rash started.
I am extremely unhappy about this and feel that I cannot trust the Woolworths brand and the assistance offered there.
Please advise.
