Every day I go to shoprite for many years now. Never was it any policy to search your handbags. After I payed my goods the seciirity gaurd came to me in front of all the people telling me he has to search me! Totally confused I told him why I have just payed my stuff and here is my slip and he said that it is his job to search all womans handbags. I said why mine there is thousends of woman passing by and he doesn't search their bags. In front of all the people he search my bag on a counter where everyone could see me I felt like a crimanal. I said to him that there is private stuff in and only then after already looking he said he would go and get a lady She then took me into a private room still looking and took my perfume shaking it feeling if its full checking my gum if its emty? What if it was full then they wouldve said I it. After they left me feeling like a criminal and didn't find anything I went to the manager and told her she just said let them search you and leave your number we will take it futher? And its not the first tme something like this happend regarding searching people and always white people. It happend to my daughter aswell
