I live literally 1 road away from hobart spar in bryanston, however spar is just one of the large stores in the area where i can do my shopping. i choose to go there, but not anymore. my first bad experience there was a few months ago when i bought a chocolate cake slice, came home and jumped right into it, only to have an egg shell get stuck in my gum while chewing. awfully traumatic to say the least, took it back and wow, they gave me my R10 BACK. who paid my petrol to run up and down for their mess up. egg shells are extremely unhygienic and can easily carry disease! IT WAS IN MY MOUTH!!! every single time i go to spar and walk pass the bakery section there are ALWAYS flies inside the glass exposed to the cakes. are people paying to eat fly??? my last encounter was when i went there this past weekend, looked for flies, saw nothing so decided to get another chocolate slice, the lady attending to me placed it in a box, she then flips the box over to try and close the box... COMMON SENSE!!! THERE'S ICING ON THE FREAKEN CAKE! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BUY A MASHED UP CAKE??? PATHETIC SERVICE! VERY DISAPPOINTING! TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!
