I purchased a 1TB Seagate external hard drive at the Game in the Bel Air Shopping Centre yesterday which was on special for R799.00. Upon returning home I discover that this hard drive is only compatible with Windows, while I work on an Apple Mac. Thus, the hard drive will need to be exchanged. I phoned the store this morning (they failed to return my first call as promised) to inquire on whether they have the same special for a Mac compatible device so that I can come into the store to make the exchange. I then phoned three more times, was put through to about five different staff members (including the Manager, who has absolutely NO manners whatsoever) and all have been unable to help me. Instead of being apologetic for this, I have had the phone put down in my ear on two of the three calls and was left on hold for a long period of time with no resolution.
I sincerely hope that someone who is able to communicate effectively with customers will contact me in this regard, as this is completely unacceptable service.
