Damaged Goods and Lack of Accountability

On 2013-10-13 my sister and I were at the store and she purchased 2 stone Buddha's for R338 and a dinner set for R110.The items were brought by a staff member as he took it from the store room. We did not check the contents based on consumer trust.this was also the case with the dinner set. The items were taken to the car in a trolley by the staff member. Once my sister got home she found that the two Buddha's and the dinner set were broken.countless attempts were made to return the items to Fourways branch of @Home but they refuse to return/refund the items. Randpark branch also refused. It is totally unacceptable. The cost of phone calls and fuel is also unacceptable.
