Shoprite is currently running a special on several items and one of those items is a sunlight 2kg washing powder. According to their leaflet, if you buy a sunlight 2kg washing powder you get a 1kg free. But this is not the case the shoprite morula. I went there over the weekend and instead of the 1kg, consumers are given 800gms. surely this is not right. this is clearly false advertising because what they advertised is not what is offered. I went to Shoprite in Block P soshanguve and there I was told that the 1 kgs are finished and I should only take the 2kg for the same price. Don't we have the right to buy or get what was promised? It is their responsibility to stock up enough for their customers. I truly believe that the consumers in the townships are being undermined and treated unfairly by shoprite. Something needs to be done about these kind of things. you will never experience problems like these in town or suburbs. they are being dishonest and cheating consumers like me.
