On Saturday the 26th October 2013 I went to Pick n Pay in Park Meadows to buy a carrot cake as the make the best carrot cakes. When I got home on sunday the 27th I took the cake out of the fridge and cut a slice. To my suprise the cake was as hard as a stone. The taste thereof was of a very old cake. To my suprise the expiry date on the cake said the 28/10/2013. So how possible that the cake can be stale bought on the 26th and ate on the 27th. I have already lost trust and faith in Pick n Pay Park Meadows. I cannot pay R40 for a carrot cake only to find that it is not consumable. I have kept the cake still in the fridge and want to be compensated.
