A few months ago i bought a pair of trousers from ackermans eastgate. the product code was 417757. i wore them once and they ripped. i couldn't find the slip so i went and bought another pair and asked the lady at the till to check the stitching because i had a problem with the same pair. she checked and said they looked fine. i wore the pants for the first time two weeks ago. then i wore them again on Tuesday and they started ripping the exact same way the others did. i took them back today (the second pair) and i was given major major attitude by the cashier who was helping me. she said they couldn't take the pants back because they had a 3month return policy i then told her i bought the pants in august and today is October therefore three months had not lapsed. then she said they actually had a 7day return policy i told her that was not accurate and then the manager said i should go look for another pair of the same pants. i told her i wouldn't do that as it was a waste of my time because i had two pairs of pants that clearly had a manufacturers fault. i now have two pairs of pants that have a manufactures fault and i dont know what to do with them.
