Piece of glass found in bee

Yesterday I purchased Castle Lite from Ultra Liquors at Goodwood Mall. When opening one of the bottles last night, and was drinking the beer and felt something odd in my mouth and took out the offending material which ended up being a small, sharp shard of glass the same colour as the bottle.

I inspected the bottle to find that a piece of the top of the bottle was chipped off. I am sure this could not have been from opening the bottle, as this is a twist cap and glass should not be able to break off that easily?

I just thought that this is worthy to mention as this might be batch problem (hopefully not - and this is the only one I found like this).

I would appreciate some feedback on the above.
