I had an account with Total Sports account. When I tried to make arrangement for intallments, it was already handed over to the Easton Berry Attorneys last year June. I made arrangement with Attorneys until i settled my debt on the 28 Feb 2013. The Attorneys gave me the settlement letter on the 05/03/2013 that my account is fully paid up. When I tried to apply for a contract phone from Cell C on Tuesday I was informed that my Total sports account is still in arrears for the of amount R 207.00. I contacted ITC to confirm and they told me that my account is been in arrears for over a year till to date. I'm fustrated and angry because neither Total sports nor Foschini never informed me of the arrears amount via sms or calling. They ruined my credit record. I phoned Foschini head office and a lady told me that all my account are settled on her system. This is very confusing and fustrating because it seems that someone is not tellling the truth. I have submitted the proof of settlement to Foschini at [Email Removed] on the 16/10/2013 but nothing had been updated on the ITC. I will never have an account with Foschini Group from now on.
