About 6 years ago I lost my phone and was given a new one becoz I had insurance. I used that phone with no problems till I decided to buy myself a new one. I was so used to using that phone it made it easier for me to transfer songs from that LG phone to my new blackberry for music. I have been using that phone for that purpose only for about 3 years. that LG phone has now disappeared and I cannot find it anymore. I called the customer careline and they advised that to claim I needed to go to a store. I got to the store and was given the phones IMEI number that I need to use to get an ITC reference number. I called MTN to block the phone and they say they cannot find the phone on the network therefore I cannot be given the ITC reference number. to my surprise after I had spoke to 3 different consultants it turns out Edgars has 2 IMEI numbers for that phone and MTN cant block both IMEI numbers. I cannot claim for my phone that is lost because MTN is unable to help me. can someone explain to me why 1 phone has 2 IMEI numbers and how do I claim for my phone because I have been paying insurance for it? pls refund my money or let me know how you going to sort out my query.
