I had an interview with outdoor warehouse Willowbridge on 1 October scheduled for 11am. I applied for the Trainee Assistant Store Manager position. I emailed my CV with a clear heading stating which position I would like too apply for to Dries. He called me the next day to say I should come in for the interview on 1 October at 11am. I currently live in Swellendam and took a day off work and drove 400KM to come for this interview only find out that Dries has already left for lunch, and also to find out that the Trainee Assistant Store Manager position has already been given to someone else.
I spoke to the lady on duty there that day, who agreed it was totally unacceptable and that she will pass this on the the divisional manager who to date has not contacted me for some feedback. It is 2 weeks later and after leaving 2 messages at the store last week with the lady who said someone will phone me back this week. still has not called me back. I am very upset about this. My day off was wasted, (I currently work in retail) and my money and time was wasted too. To top it all off, I am now being ignored about this very unprofessional mistake that you made, and I find it very disrespectful.
