I have been contacted by a debt claims company to say I have been handed over for an Edgars account to the value of R19 000.
Firstly, I cannot get hold of this company to get details of who handed me over and what details they have.
Secondly, I have an account which is currently at R0 balance.
Thirdly, I checked with Edgars after the first call and they confirmed my account is at R0 and said I had nothing to worry about.
Forth. they say they sent me a mail which I never received, I re-confirmed my e-mail address and still have not received any documentation.
I need clarification as to where this is coming from and for someone to clear my name as this is 100% incorrect.
