Useless Account Protection Plan

So i have the account protection plan on my Edgars account that n pay extra for, being retrenched entitles me to claim on that right? WRONG...

Two days after my retrenchment i went to Edgars Cape Gate and filled in the application and gave my paperwork and in few minutes everything was done and completed. So i was told in few days my account would be settled.

So n month and a half later i started getting phone calls from debt collection asking when i will be paying, so i explained the whole story and the lady on the phone said she will contact them and find out what is going on and someone will contact me... no one contacted me... once again accounts department phoned and asked for payments. So i went back to the Cape Gate store and guess what... my application was never sent on... the guy there got my application but the retrenchment letter was misplaced and i don't have a copy of that anymore but he said he will see what he can do. 2 weeks later they started phoning again for payment so i got upset and the women just put the phone down in my ear... really nice.

I went back to the store again and now apparently the documents did reach them but it needs to be verified.
