Torn Guess Jeans

Last night around 6pm I visited the Edgars Customer Services to return a guess jeans that had torn. I told the sales lady that it was purchased in this year and I could not remember if it was purchased on account or on my debit card. She checked the system and said the purchase was not on account. I checked my internet banking and saw I paid with my debit card on 20 March R699. Now the lady told me that I cannot return a defective item after 6 months. This obviously infuriated me because this is not a R300 jeans but I paid R700 for it. I would at least expect it to last me for a few years as a jeans like this is suppose to be an investment! This is the most expensive jeans I ever bought and to have it tear after just a little over 6 months! I posted a complain on Edgars website on Wed but I havent heard anything yet. If you planning to respond then email me as I dont have my phone on me
