Popped into our local Clicks Pharmacy to get my perscription of Omez 20 filled. There were two pharmacists on duty, one were busy with a client and the other were leaning on the counter, playing with her phone.
I waited my turn and when she finally noticed me and called me to the counter, I asked if they had any Omez 20 in stock. She said yes, then no .. Then she said she sold 'the last one'
I didn't even bother to ask her if she EVEN KNEW WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. Omez 20 is Omeprazole and I take it because I suffer from gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. Omez 20 is the most effective heart-burn medication on the market.
And today they were 'out of stock' or as the 'pharmacist' put it 'sold the last one'.
Who's in charge of ordering the necessary medication at this Clicks? And HOW can you be OUT OF STOCK on PERSCRIPTION MEDICATION?
In my opinion, it's plain LAZINESS. How hard can it be to pick up a phone and ORDER something?
Oh, that's right, you'd actually have to LIFT YOUR AND WALK TO THE PHONE AND OPEN YOUR MOUTH .. Geeeeez, hard work!!
Or maybe it's a case of 'but I thought he/she/it ordered it'
