I missed one payment by accident. After two weeks I received a call from the financial department (in a quite unpleasant tone) to pay IMMEDIATELY. I promised to pay the amount by 23 September, but paid on 21 September. On Sunday (!) 22 September, while preparing to go to church, I got called by them again, demanding payment. They did not seem to understand Afrikaans, refused to understand that payment was made (a confirmation was sent to them on Saturday), and after being told that we do not discuss business on Sundays, they actually called again less than 5 minutes later. Even on a business day, this would have been considered bad taste, but on a Sunday, completely disregarding my Christian views on business on Sundays?
We previously had an issue with them about certain specials only being offered on Sundays, but this is the limit. I now know Edgars have NO interest in the religious views of customers, and will actively undermine Christianity where they can. If this ever happens again, I will tell the world how they treat Christians.
