No Response from Call Centre or Email@custmr care!

I purchased a product for my mum's birthday on the 9th of January from the personal grooming department at Clicks. My mum then notified me that the product is not as effective as it suppose to be and I can't return this product to Clicks as on the back of the cash sale slip it states that personal grooming products will not be refunded due to hygenic reasons! I tried to contact the 011 call centre number for Homemark, and the lady transferred me to customer care for Clicks. After waiting on the line for 3 minutes with no agent answering the call, I then cut the call and decided to send an e-mail, 3 days have passed and I have received no response! Why is your customer service so pathetic! It is amazing how quick the call is answered when its a sales call! I am very disapointed with the product and the customer service and I would like a full refund on the product purchased as it was meant to be a gift for my mum and she was disheartened to learn that this product was not effective as it suppose to be!! REPLY VIA E-MAIL ONLY, NO TIME TO WAIT ON THE LINE FOR AN AGENT TO GET THROUGH TO ME!
