Account billing/bad attitudes of CallCentre staff

I had activity on my account in July and only realised when I received my statement in Aug. Edgars normally call me if a purchase is over R2000, but did not do so in this instance. I reported the at Woodlands Boulevard on 18 Aug and completed all the necessary documents. I was told that I will get an sms from Edgars in 48hrs. To date I have not received any correspondence from Edgars on the status of the investigation. My card was also blocked and I was informed by the consultant at the Edgars branch that there will be no extra costs for my account until the dispute/ investigation was resolved. Today 9 Sep 2013, I received an sms as follows "Please pay your Edcon acc no 7000xxx urgently in order to maintain your positive payment record and good credit reference." I called Edgars a few times to have the consultants that I spoke to being rude and slam the phone down in my ear. I was told that my payment limit was reset and that what I owed was lower than my payment that I made on 28 Aug. I requested an apology from Edgars only to have the phone put down again. I am so done with Edgars and as a client of many years I will close this account.
