Yesterday (24 January 2013) at Woolworths Cresta I tried to use a gift card voucher to purchase 2 items. The cashier informed me that they were offline for processing Gift Card Vouchers. I asked what the solution was to continue the transaction. The supervisor was called who told me: "ALL Woolworths stores have been offline for 2 days and are unable to process gift card vouchers." This was a blatant lie, as I had used that same gift card voucher at Fourways Woolworths on 23 January 2013 at about 16:50. There was no resolution, so I left my items at the counter and left.
