Recently I moved back to South Africa after leaving abroad for 5 years and had to buy a full house of furniture. As this can be an expensive exercise I decided to go with Mr Price home as I know the furniture there is "well" priced due to it only really lasting 5 years. This would then give me enough time to save for the furniture I actually wanted and could afford.
HOWEVER to my disappointed the furniture did not even last the trip to my home. I spent R20, 000 at Mr Price and every single piece of furniture I bought was damaged, which of course we only discoverd after putting it all together!! EVERY SINGLE PIECE of furniture was either cracked, chipped or scratched. I will NEVER EVER buy any furniture from Mr Price again and I SUGGEST YOU DONT EITHER.
The manager at the store was so rude during a pervious interaction whereby they wanted me to pay for two delivers to my house as they did not have stock of a couch and had to order it, it would only arrive two to three weeks later. I refused to pay the second delivery and after lots of fighting finally got it right. I therefore did not even complain about the furniture as I knew nothing would happen.
