I was at Edgars (The Glen) on Sunday 01/09/2013, confronted by unprofessional staff members. I went to make a payment directly into my Edgars account, initially I was told that the first teller was having a system problem and was not able to assist me, she then gave "my card" to the teller next to her. I then gave the money I wanted to pay to the second teller, the teller then confirmed my surname and made the payment, when I walked away I then realised that my payment was made into a different account. I went back to the teller to let her know of the error. The teller implied that there was a error with my card initially, but with further investigation it was found that the card that was used to receive payment was actually the staff members card. The supposed manager Ayanda came to assist, all he said was "sorry we will reverse it". Can a Edgars representitive please confirm whether or not it is normal procedure for the staff members to be having their own personal cards at the till while dealing with walk in customers.
