Smart Shopper Event Venue Changed without notice

My dad Mornay Van Vuuren was invited to you Smart Shopper Event on the 28 August 2013 at Melrose Arch. We responded to the email that we will be attending the event and got a feedback that our seats was booked. They arrive at the Melrose Arch venue where it stated in the email were it is going to be and when we got there was only a piece of paper on the door stating the venue has moved. We never got notified by email that the venue was moved to Sandton. As a result of that we did not attend the event as someone incompetence to not notify the people that the venue has moved. You wasted my time and petrol just to arrive at an empty venue. As a result I would like to be compensated in some way for the loss. I have the email to prove that I was invited to he event.
