This past Sunday, the 18th of August, I bought a carton of Nu Seed Muesli from PnP (Claremont Branch). I was after something gluten free and even though it was pricey (R 80 for 600 g), I decided to go for it. I used the first sachet this morning. I mixed it into fruit and yoghurt and thought it was quite tasty. Tonight as I packed another sachet into my lunch box I noticed something moving inside. I was shocked to find several live grain weevils squirming about in the sealed sachet! I probably consumed a few this morning as well!
It is unacceptable that a product like this is infested with bugs.
