I went to Shoprite in November 2012 to deposit R300 so my mom who lives with my son can take him to the doctor. When she tried to withdraw, she could not access the funds because of incorrect pin punched. The next day I went to try and access the funds myself at the same branch the deposit was made, and they could not help me either, instead I was told to go make an ID copy, draw a bank statement and my money will have to be transferred via the bank and they said I will get it after 6 months. I went and delivered all those documents and retained my deposit slip which served as proof of transaction. In July 2013 I still did not have my money, I went again and found another lady who took that deposit slip from me and promised that I will get my money the next day. It's 9 months and I am still waiting.
