In October last year 2012 i bought a plasma unit stand from Furniture city fourways. After a week the painting started to pill off from cleaning with wood liquid cleaner. I informed the shop in fourways and they gladly accepted to replace it. After the unit was replaced with a similar unit i started experiencing the same problem of which i now knew it was because of the quality of this piece of furniture. I have made numerous calls to the shop and they have promised to contact the supplier to resolve this issue.8 months later this issue has not being resolved and iam still paying for this stand. I have come to note that the quality of products from furniture city is substandard after going through a similar experience with my couch, from furn city again. I have resolved not to purchase any furniture from this store ever again next time i will save money to buy expensive quality furniture even if it means not having sofas for a while whilst i save. One more thing they send me smses every month reminding me of my monthly installment which i have never defaulted on this is so annoying.
